You, my friend, can be part of the elite team unlocking the secrets of the Vault.

I'm Patricia Loofbourrow, a science fiction author. My training is in family medicine, serving ordinary people.

I love the ancient mysteries: genealogy, history, science. I write suspenseful, action-packed, often psychological, sometimes horrifying stories set in future times.

I've written hundreds of stories since I began writing in 2005, and I'd like to share them with you.

Many areas are still being investigated. We still have not discovered how to open the second level - any knowledge you have may help.

Perhaps you'll be the one to find and open the portal!

This may take some time, so be sure to bring food and water with you.

What is the Vault?

A vast, multi-level library of a future time.

What lies in the Vault?

Stories of far off worlds, of creatures unknown. Strange artifacts from a future age.

But beware: dangers lurk in the depths. You may suffer hurt, and grief, and pain. Only the bravest may enter, and you will not emerge unscathed.

How do I get my stories from the Vault?

The stories will rest in the Vault, so return to the Vault to receive them.

You will be given the coordinates after purchasing.

Are these short stories, books, or what?

The first-level tales are short. Once you begin, on the first of each month you will be able to vote on which story you would like to be released next.

How many stories are there in the Vault already?

The Vault began releasing stories on a monthly basis during January 2024.

Do I have to vote?

No. But I'm not sure why you wouldn't want to. The story which does not win the vote tends to disappear for a time, leaving us unable to access it until the system presents it to us again.

Are these stories from the Red Dog Conspiracy series?

None of these are in the Red Dog Conspiracy series. Most of these were written between 2006 and 2012 and have never been published.

How do I progress in the Vault?

Our scientists believe that when enough people have entered a level, the next level will be unlocked. Until then, no key in the world has yet been able to open the second portal.

How many people do we need to unlock the next level?

Ah, that is something our scientists do not as yet know.
